I have been involved with horses all my life sharing a blue cross rescue pony with my brother
& sister at the age of three. As a teenager mucking out stables all day on Saturday for the privilage
of riding a horse to the field in the evening. Eventually owing my own horse many years later, and helping my
daughter with her pony club and other events.
I have had to hang up my riding boots now due to injury, but I think painting
the magnificent creatures that have given me so much pleasure is a very good alternative.

"I love the sight and sound of water. A trickeling brook, a tumbling
waterfall or waves crashing on rocks, all give me as much pleasure as observing a still pond reflecting it's surroundings. Here
are a few seascapes I completed recently, of the coast near my home in Dorset."

Although I paint mostly wildlife, horses or nature, I do sometimes do other things.
I was inspired to paint this little picture of Jacob with his dog Jess, after watching them together one afternoon.
